The Ad-Hoc Committee on Biodiversity-related Sciences

Established in 2011 and re-appointed in 2012 and 2013, this ad-hoc committee chaired by AIBS Board of Directors member James Hanken is gathering information to report to the AIBS Board of Directors on the feasibility of a biodiversity-related science policy initiative. This committee is in the process of developing materials and receiving information from the scientific community. A website has been established to help the committee share information with the community and receive input from scientists and scientific organizations.
