AIBS Annual MeetingsAIBS Annual Meetings provide focused discussion of timely subjects at the science-policy interface for an audience of professionals, educators, students, NGO staff, government scientists, members of Congress, and the media. Attendees hear distinguished plenary speakers and panelists present synthesizing lectures from the forefront of their fields, then join those speakers and other equally notable scholars in panel sessions and informal discussion groups. The meetings also include a contributed poster session, AIBS awards, and workshops. The plenary lectures are recorded and put online after the meeting for free viewing worldwide in the AIBS Media Library. Articles derived from many of the presentations are later published in BioScience and ActionBioscience.org. At each annual meeting, AIBS hosts a competition and awards for the best research posters presented by undergraduate and graduate students.
