DeAlma Nicole Worsham
I was born in Atlanta, Georgia and raised in Decatur, a suburb of the city. I was a member of the class of 1998 at Druid Hills High School, where my interest in the field of science was ignited. I attended Kent State University, and received my B.S. in Integrated Life Sciences in August 2000. I later moved to Cincinnati, Ohio and joined the Biological Sciences Department at the University of Cincinnati as a Master’s candidate in 2001 and defended my thesis research project in June 2004. Currently, I am a Research Assistant at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, Division of Experimental Hematology. I love science and continue to learn more each day.
