Joel Abraham

Joel Abraham was raised in Santa Cruz, CA in a family of 11. He attended Santa Cruz High School, where he developed a love of both science and athletics. After attending Howard University in Washington, DC, majoring in biology and graduating summa cum laude, he participated in a number of research programs overseas. He is currently enrolled in a doctoral program at the University of California, Berkeley in the Department of Integrative Biology. His research focus is on phenological and physiological influences on exotic perennial invasion success in coastal California grasslands.
