Dr. Pouyat was the AIBS Congressional Science Fellow from 1997-1998, cosponsored by the Ecological Society of America and the Society for Conservation Biology. Dr. Pouyat is an urban forest ecologist and now works as part of the Long-Term Ecological Research Network's (LTER) Baltimore Ecosystem Study group.
