The AIBS Legislative Action Center is an easy-to-use tool that enables biologists and science educators to quickly and effectively communicate with their elected officials. Each day lawmakers make tough decisions about science policy. For example, members of Congress are debating investments in federal research programs, biodiversity conservation, mitigation of climate change, and the opportunities of stem cell research for new medical treatments. Scientists now have the opportunity to help their elected officials understand the importance of these issues to the scientific research and education communities.
