August 1, 2012AIBS is pleased to collaborate with the Northwest Association of Biomedical Research (NWABR) on its National Institutes of Health-funded Science Education Partnership Award (SEPA): Collaborations to Understand Research and Ethics. NWABR is committed to increase public understanding of health science advances, particularly the ethical challenges presented by new technologies. NWABR has published resources and offers professional development opportunities for teachers to improve student learning around these issues. AIBS is committed to improving bioscience literacy through formal and informal education programs and publishes the online free website: ActionBioscience.org. Through its partnership with NWABR, AIBS will be able to increase public bioscience literacy via ActionBioscience.org.
