    SUMMARY: Pursuant to Section 14(a)(2)(A) of the Federal Advisory Committee Act (Pub. L. 92-463), and in accordance with Title 41 of the Code of Federal Regulations, section 102-3.65(a), and following consultation with the Committee Management Secretariat, General Services Administration, notice is hereby given that the Environmental Management Advisory Board (Board) will be renewed for a two-year period beginning January 22, 2016.

    The Board provides the Assistant Secretary for Environmental Management (EM) with information and strategic advice on a broad range of corporate issues affecting the EM program. These corporate issues include, but are not limited to, project management and oversight activities, cost/benefit analyses, program performance, human capital development, and contracts and acquisition strategies.

    Additionally, the renewal of the Board has been determined to be essential to conduct DOE's business and to be in the public interest in connection with the performance of duties imposed on DOE by law and agreement. The Board will operate in accordance with the provisions of the Federal Advisory Committee Act, and rules and regulations issued in implementation of that Act.

    AGENCY: Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).

    ACTION: Notification of public teleconference and public comment.


    SUMMARY: Pursuant to the Federal Advisory Committee Act, Public Law 92- 463, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) hereby provides notice that the Board of Scientific Counselors (BOSC) Executive Committee will host a public teleconference convening on February 8, 2016, from 1:00pm to 3:00pm Eastern Time. The primary discussion will focus on the consolidated report incorporating the five subcommittee reports, which addresses the research and future direction of the Office of Research and Development's (ORD) National Research Programs. The five subcommittees are: Air, Climate and Energy; Chemical Safety for Sustainability and Human Health Risk Assessment; Homeland Security; Safe and Sustainable Water Resources; and Sustainable and Healthy Communities. The report also provides advice on two ORD Cross-Cutting Research Roadmaps: Environmental Justice and Climate Change. There will be a public comment period from 1:15 pm to 1:30 pm Eastern Time on February 8, 2016. Due to a limited number of telephone lines, attendance will be on a first-come, first-served basis. Advance registration is required.   • National Coastal Condition Assessment 2010

    AGENCY: Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).

    ACTION: Notice of availability.


    SUMMARY: This notice announces the availability of the final National Coastal Condition Assessment (NCCA) 2010. The NCCA describes the results of a nationwide coastal probabilistic survey that was conducted in the summer of 2010 by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and its state, tribal, and federal partners. Results include estimates of coastal area with good, fair, and poor biological quality, water quality, sediment quality, and ecological fish tissue quality. Results are presented nationally and regionally for the Northeast, Southeast, Gulf of Mexico, West, and Great Lakes coasts. The NCCA 2010 also includes information on how the survey was implemented, and future actions and challenges.
