    Pursuant to section 10(d) of the Federal Advisory Committee Act, as amended, notice is hereby given of a meeting of the National Cancer Advisory Board.

    The meeting will be open to the public as indicated below, with attendance limited to space available. Individuals who plan to attend and need special assistance, such as sign language interpretation or other reasonable accommodations, should notify the Contact Person listed below in advance of the meeting. The open session will be videocast and can be accessed from the NIH Videocasting and Podcasting website (http://videocast.nih.gov).

  • National Toxicology Program Board of Scientific Counselors; Announcement of Meeting; Request for Comments

    SUMMARY: This notice announces the next meeting of the National Toxicology Program (NTP) Board of Scientific Counselors (BSC). The BSC, a federally chartered, external advisory group composed of scientists from the public and private sectors provides advice on programmatic activities. This meeting complements year-long activities to ensure NTP's scientific direction, expertise, and capabilities are strategically positioned to address public health issues and provide the necessary scientific information to inform decision-making. The agenda includes talks by invited speakers on "The Changing Toxicology Landscape: Challenges and the Future of Risk Assessment" followed by time for BSC discussion and input to NTP. The talks were originally scheduled for December 11, 2018; however, the meeting day was cancelled due to inclement weather. This meeting is by webcast only and is open to the public. Registration is requested for oral comment and is required to access the webcast. Information about the meeting and registration are available at http://ntp.niehs.nih.gov/go/165.
