    ACTION: Notice of renewal.


    Pursuant to the Federal Advisory Committee Act, and in accordance with Title 41 of the Code of Federal Regulations, and following consultation with the Committee Management Secretariat, General Services Administration, notice is hereby given that the EMAB will be renewed for a two-year period, beginning January 17, 2020.

    The Board provides the Assistant Secretary for EM with information and strategic advice on a broad range of corporate issues affecting the EM program. These corporate issues include, but are not limited to, project management and oversight activities, cost/benefit analyses, program performance, human capital development, and contracts and acquisition strategies. Recommendations to EM on the programmatic resolution of numerous difficult issues will help achieve EM's objective of the safe and efficient cleanup of its contaminated sites.

    Additionally, the renewal of the EMAB has been determined to be essential to conduct DOE business and to be in the public interest in connection with the performance of duties imposed on DOE by law and agreement. EMAB will operate in accordance with the provisions of the Federal Advisory Committee Act, and rules and regulations issued in implementation of that Act.

    SUMMARY: The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Office of the Science Advisor, Policy, and Engagement announces two separate public meetings of the Human Studies Review Board (HSRB) to advise the Agency on the ethical and scientific review of research involving human subjects.

    DATES: A virtual public meeting will be held on Thursday, January 30, 2020 from 1 p.m. to approximately 5:30 p.m. Eastern Time. A separate, subsequent teleconference meeting is planned for Tuesday, March 17, 2020, from 2 p.m. to approximately 3:30 p.m. Eastern Time for the HSRB to finalize its Report of the January 30, 2020 meeting and review other possible topics.

    SUMMARY: The EPA's Environmental Financial Advisory Board (EFAB) will hold a webinar briefing on January 30, 2020 and a public meeting on February 11-13, 2020 in Washington, DC. The purpose of the webinar will be to receive a background briefing on the Backhaul Alaska program. The purpose of the public meeting will be to: Consider a report by the EFAB Stormwater Infrastructure Finance Task Force Workgroup; conduct a consultation with the EPA on financing options for the Backhaul Alaska program; receive briefings on other environmental financing topics; and consider possible future projects.

    DATES: The webinar will be held on January 30, 2020 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. EST. The February 11, 2020 through February 13, 2020 public meetings will be held as follows: February 11 and 12, 2020 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. EST, and on February 13, 2020 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. EST.
