The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) is seeking nominations for members of the NOAA Science Advisory Board, the Federal Advisory Committee that advises the NOAA Administrator on long and short-range strategies for research, education, and application of science to resource management and environmental assessment. NOAA also announced the availability of almost 40 grants in fiscal year (FY) 2010. Funding is available for projects ranging from harmful algal bloom research to education to coastal habitat restoration. All grant announcements will be available on the www.grants.gov website.
