The American Institute of Biological Sciences has asked the House of Representatives to sustain investments for the National Science Foundation (NSF) in fiscal year 2014.

The testimony highlighted the important role that NSF plays in supporting basic research, which helps drive innovation and power our nation's economic growth. NSF's role in innovative science education was also addressed.

The testimony from AIBS was submitted to the House Appropriations Subcommittee on Commerce, Justice, Science, and Related Agencies.
