AIBS will be having a special meeting of the AIBS Council on June 30, 2020 at 2:00 PM Eastern. This webinar discussion will explore opportunities for scientific societies to combat racism and intolerance.

Like many of your organizations, AIBS issued a statement "No Room for Racism and Injustice in Science or Society" on June 4, 2020. As we noted in our statement, one of the ways in which we think AIBS can help tackle systemic racism is to host a conversation with leaders of our membership to explore what different organizations are doing to combat racism and injustice in science or society. This discussion is one way for the AIBS Council to identify and share resources, and strategize to tackle a significant problem of common concern.

We are still developing the agenda, so please share any ideas or questions you might have with us at membership@aibs.org.

Register Donations from individuals who participate in our programs help us provide additional programming. Please help us host more of these important conversations by making a donation to AIBS today.
