The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's (NOAA) Science Advisory Board (SAB) is requesting comments on a preliminary report on NOAA's Ecosystem Research and Science Enterprise panel. The report, commissioned by Vice Admiral Conrad C. Lautenbacher, Jr., the Undersecretary of Commerce for Oceans and Atmosphere, addresses questions and proposes recommendations regarding the appropriateness of the mix of scientific activities conducted by NOAA and on the organization of NOAA's ecosystem research and science enterprise. The SAB will accept comments until 22 May 2006.
