This year’s meeting will focus on strategies to effectively engage with current science policy challenges. The agenda will include invited presentations on the Scientist Network for Advancing Policy (SNAP) initiative led by early career scientists, navigating the current environment for IDEA (Inclusivity, Diversity, Equity, and Accessibility) work, and exploring alternative funding sources. The meeting will also delve into strategies for effective advocacy, including a look at the fiscal year 2026 federal budget and actionable ways to engage with Congress.

This is an opportunity to connect with fellow AIBS member and other like-minded organizations, share resources and experiences, and coordinate to strengthen our collective advocacy efforts. We look forward to seeing you there.
