The Biological Sciences Congressional District Visits event enables scientists to meet with their federal or state elected officials in their home state and allows policymakers to learn first-hand about the science and research facilities in their district.

The American Institute of Biological Sciences is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Charles Fenster as editor-in-chief of its flagship journal, BioScience, effective 1 January 2023, upon the expiry of previous editor-in-chief Scott L. Collins’s second three-year term.
